Denpasar City FC is sending under-8 and under-10 teams, each with 12 selected players, to SingaCup 2026 in Singapore, with Rp20 million in support from the Deputy Mayor of Denpasar.
(Dutabalinews.com) – Denpasar City FC will take part in the international early-age football event SingaCup 2026 in Singapore on 30–31 October 2026. The club from Denpasar City is sending two teams, the under-8 (KU-8) and under-10 (KU-10) age groups, each made up of 12 selected players.

Before departure, the players and management said farewell to the Deputy Mayor of Denpasar, I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa, to ask for his blessing and support.
Denpasar City FC Management Coordinator Putu Sayang Merdawa said taking part in SingaCup 2026 is part of the club’s continuing early-age football development. Besides aiming for results, the tournament is expected to give the players international experience that improves their technical ability, competitive mentality, discipline and self-confidence. Earlier, four Denpasar City FC age groups, KU-9, KU-10, KU-12 and KU-14, brought home trophies from a national competition.
According to Putu Sayang Merdawa, Denpasar City FC, founded only about a year ago, keeps working to develop young players so that they can move up to higher levels of competition, including the Piala Soeratin and the Provincial Sports Week (Pekan Olahraga Provinsi, Porprov). The experience of playing against players from other countries is expected to be an important foundation for the players’ development and to support the progress of football in Bali and Indonesia.
The Deputy Mayor of Denpasar, I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa, praised the opportunity the young players have earned. He told all the players to look after their health, discipline and team unity, to uphold sportsmanship and to protect the good name of Denpasar City during the tournament. He also urged the players to pray at their family temple (merajan) or family shrine before departure to ask for safety and a smooth journey.
As a form of support for the development of early-age athletes, Arya Wibawa gave Rp20 million in travel support for Denpasar City FC’s participation in SingaCup 2026. He hopes the opportunity will be a valuable experience for the players, improving their ability and competitive mentality and encouraging the emergence of high-achieving football athletes from Denpasar City.
