TRIBUNSOLO.COM, KUDUS – The series of girls’ football championships initiated by Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife, titled MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026, has been successfully held.

Held at Supersoccer Arena in Kudus, Central Java, from 23 to 28 June, All-Stars Kudus kept their champions’ title after a fierce final against All-Stars Jakarta, ending 0-0 (4-3) on penalties. All-Stars Surabaya took third place after beating All-Stars Yogyakarta 1-0.
PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir thanked everyone who made the MilkLife Soccer Challenge possible as a platform for developing girls’ football in Indonesia. In his view, the tournament is not just a competition but a concrete step towards building a more inclusive and successful future for women’s football.

PSSI has prepared a 10-year blueprint towards the 2035 Women’s World Cup. Now we are no longer just talking about plans, but have moved with concrete action through programmes and competitions like the MilkLife Soccer Challenge. This progress can only be achieved through collaboration between the government, the private sector, communities, schools and parents. The MilkLife Soccer Challenge has become a real example of that collaboration.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director Teddy Tjahjono said the fierce matches from the group stage to the final of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026 show that the abilities of young female footballers are becoming more even. This stems from efforts to keep growing Indonesia’s women’s football ecosystem through a tiered, continuous tournament structure.
To screen even more girls’ football talent nationwide, next season the MilkLife Soccer Challenge will expand with new host cities: Jayapura, Garut, and Jakarta split into two regions (East Jakarta and North Jakarta).

This season we saw very positive development, shown by matches that were more competitive from the group stage to the final, with the quality of play, spirit and mentality of the players improving and the abilities of participants becoming more balanced. At the same time, support from parents, schools and relevant stakeholders is also growing.

Many players now train regularly at football schools because they want to pursue football more seriously. That gives us the confidence to widen the reach of our development by adding three host cities starting next season.

As part of continuing development, Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife again give young athletes the chance to experience the atmosphere of international competition. After successfully sending two teams to the JSSL Singapore 7’s 2025, where they were runners-up, this year the 34 best MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026 players are being flown to SingaCup 2026, held from 31 October to 7 November.
The event is one of Asia’s prestigious football tournaments, involving young talents from various countries, including several representatives of football academies in Indonesia.
MLSC All-Stars does not stop at the national round. We formed two teams filled with the best players identified by the talent-scouting team to compete at SingaCup 2026. Through the competition, the athletes are expected to accelerate their abilities, improve their mentality and add to their international experience. The experience aims to form more mature talents as part of the regeneration of Indonesia’s women’s national team.
