Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) Chairman Erick Thohir praised the organisation of MLSC as a development platform for Indonesian girls’ football, saying the competition is an important part of achieving PSSI’s target of reaching the 2035 Women’s World Cup.

PSSI has prepared a 10-year blueprint towards the 2035 Women’s World Cup. Now we are not only talking about plans but already moving through programmes and competitions such as MLSC. This progress can only be achieved through collaboration between government, the private sector, communities, schools and parents.

Erick Thohir, PSSI Chairman

MLSC Program Director Teddy Tjahjono said the quality of competition between participants has become more even, evidence that early-age girls’ football development is moving in a positive direction. Next season MLSC will expand with three more cities: Jayapura, Garut, and Jakarta, split into two regions, East Jakarta and North Jakarta.

This season’s matches were increasingly competitive from the group phase to the final. Ability, competitive mentality, and support from parents, schools and various stakeholders also keep growing. That is why we are optimistic about expanding the reach of development.

Teddy Tjahjono

As part of continuing development, the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife will send the 34 best MLSC All-Stars 2026 players to SingaCup 2026 in Singapore from 31 October to 7 November. Teddy explained the selected players will be divided into two teams based on the scouting team’s monitoring. Taking part in SingaCup is expected to improve technical ability, competitive mentality and international experience as part of the regeneration of the Indonesian women’s national team.

MLSC Head Coach Jacksen F. Tiago said the selection looked not only at individual ability but also playing intelligence, decision making and the ability to adapt on the pitch.

We look for players with football intelligence, who can read the game, manage the tempo and adapt quickly. Seeing their performance, we are optimistic we can build a competitive team to compete at international level.

Jacksen F. Tiago, MLSC Head Coach

Business Unit Head Dairy of PT Global Dairi Alami, Didiet Fadriana Abdulkadir, praised the fighting spirit of all participants, who showed significant development in technique, competitive mentality and sportsmanship. He stressed that MLSC is part of the company’s commitment to supporting girls’ football development and to realising Indonesia’s golden generation of 2045 through support for sport and good nutrition.
