The article opens with two summary points:

  • Tournament climax: the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026 girls’ grassroots tournament officially ended at Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, Central Java, after running from 23 to 28 June 2026.
  • Malang Raya’s proud achievement: although All-Stars Malang’s run ended in the quarter-finals with a 0-4 loss to Jakarta, three of their players won over the talent-scouting team and were selected for the squad for the international SingaCup 2026 tournament (31 October – 7 November 2026).

TRIBUNJATIM.COM, BATU – The prestigious girls’ grassroots tournament, the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars 2026, held at Supersoccer Arena in Kudus, Central Java, from 23 June, officially ended on Sunday (28/6/2026).

All Stars Kudus emerged as defending champions after overcoming stiff resistance from All-Stars Jakarta in a penalty shoot-out that ended 4-3 (0-0).

Although the run of All Stars Malang, backed by talented schoolgirls from Malang City, Malang Regency and Batu City, ended in the quarter-finals when they conceded to Jakarta 0-4, grassroots development in the Malang Raya area still produced a proud result.

Three girls from Malang Raya won over the national talent-scouting team led by Jacksen F Tiago and Timo Scheunemann. They are Adelice Maureen Hanum Faisal (SDN Lowokwaru 3 Malang), Garneta Falentina Imelda (SDN 1 Tumpakrejo, Malang Regency) and Ananda Nindy Dwi Berlian (SDN Lowokwaru 4 Malang).

The three young talents were officially chosen among the 34 best players nationally projected to represent Indonesia at the international SingaCup 2026 in Singapore from 31 October to 7 November 2026. Notably, Garneta Falentina also won the tournament Top Scorer title with 4 goals.

PSSI prepares blueprint towards the 2035 Women’s World Cup

The successful running of this grassroots competition drew direct praise from PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir. He said MLSC has become a new beacon of strategic collaboration in building an inclusive, achievement-oriented future for women’s football.

PSSI has prepared a 10-year blueprint towards the 2035 Women’s World Cup. Now we are no longer just talking about plans on paper, but have moved with concrete action through sustainable programmes and competitions like this MilkLife Soccer Challenge. This progress is the fruit of real collaboration between the government, the private sector, communities, schools, and the big role of parents.

Erick Thohir, Sunday (28/6/2026)

Likewise, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director Teddy Tjahjono added that the high tension and the increasingly even balance of strength from the group stage to the final prompt high optimism. The organisers therefore confirmed that next season they will expand development to areas outside Java, namely Jayapura and Garut, and split the Jakarta region into East Jakarta and North Jakarta.

The experience of competing at an international level like SingaCup is expected to accelerate their abilities, mature their mentality and add to their international experience. This is an important foundation for the regeneration of Indonesia’s women’s national team in the future.

The talent-scouting team’s high standards

MilkLife Soccer Challenge Head Coach Jacksen F Tiago explained that the criteria for choosing the 34 players taken to Singapore are not based on physical superiority or individual talent alone, but put playing intelligence (football intelligence) first.

We are looking for players who can adapt quickly to changes in the pattern of play on the pitch, play effectively, dynamically, and know how to control the tempo of the game. These criteria may sound complicated for primary school children, but through the MilkLife Soccer Challenge they were able to prove it very well. We are optimistic this team will be competitive at …
