Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia Abcandra Muhammad Akbar Supratman congratulated the achievement of a young football talent from Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi), Aimar Al Adlu. The 14-year-old player from Palu City successfully won the title of Top Scorer of the 2025 SingaCup after scoring a total of 11 goals throughout the international tournament held in Singapore.
“Congratulations Aimar! Extraordinary,” said Akbar in his statement, Sunday (9/11/2025).
The Central Sulawesi senator asked Aimar, who has the number 10 jersey, to continue to practice actively even though his team, Palu Selection, had to be stopped in the last eight. Aimar, who is familiarly called Marco, has shown great potential as an athlete of the future of Indonesia.
“Don’t be complacent, continue to practice diligently and develop game techniques,” said Akbar.
Furthermore, Marco stole the spotlight from the opening match to the knockout phase. He showed high technique, speed, and a sharp goal-scoring instinct. He opened the tournament with five goals against the Indian side, adding one against Australia, and two more against Singapore, before completing his collection in the next preliminary match.
Currently, Aimar Al Adlu is studying at Al Azhar Mandiri Palu. Outside of school, he actively trains at one of the football academies in Bogor to strengthen his technique, tactics, and competitive mentality.
The full support of his father, Ahmadi H.B. Buraera, was also an important factor in his football career journey.
“This achievement is certainly very proud, but don’t be satisfied quickly. Keep practicing and stay humble. Aimar has shown that football talents from the region can also shine on the international stage,” said Ahmadi Buraera.
