Bekasi City / Matapersindonesia.com – Team Tajimalela FA U-14 won the title in the event Lions Cup 2025 which takes place in Singapore on November 4-7, 2025. Sugeng Waluyo’s team managed to bring home the championship trophy to the country after defeating the Malaysian club La Stallions with a narrow score of 1-0 in the final.

The club, which is headquartered at the Yonif Mekanis Complex 202/Tajimalela, Rawalumbu, Bekasi City, is the best of the 20 participating clubs from seven countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, India, Australia, and Indonesia.

Tajimalela FA U-14 coach, Sugeng Waluyo and the manager of the Uki Ifwa Hajj team admitted that they were proud of their achievements. “This is the result of the preparation of the internal competition that we made, 19 players were selected for 6 months. Alhamdulillah, we were able to win the championship title in Singapore,” he said.

The Mayor of Bekasi, Dr. Tri Adhianto, congratulated the Tajimalela FA U-14 Team for the achievements that have been achieved.

“I am very happy with this achievement. This shows that Bekasi City has great potential in the field of football. I hope this team can continue to excel and bring the name of Bekasi City to the national and international levels,” he said.

The Tajimalela FA U-14 team will be projected for a higher event at the European level.

“In the future, we will create a project academy in Bekasi City ‘Bekasi City’ and we will prepare for the long-term soeratin team. And the future plans go to Europe. We are communicating with the agenda in Europe,” added Sugeng Waluyo.
