BEKASI – The Tajimalela FA U-14 team won the title in the 2025 SingaCup event which was held in Singapore on November 4-7, 2025. Under the care of coach Sugeng Waluyo, this team managed to bring home the championship trophy after defeating the Malaysian club, La Stallions, with a narrow score of 1-0 in the final.

The club, which is based at the Yonif Mekanis Complex 202/Tajimalela, Rawalumbu, Bekasi City, managed to become the best of the 20 participating clubs from seven countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, India, Australia, and Indonesia.

Tajimalela FA U-14 coach, Sugeng Waluyo, and team manager, Haji Uki Ifwa, expressed their pride in the achievements achieved by their men. “This is the result of the preparation of an internal competition that we designed, where 19 players were selected for 6 months. Alhamdulillah, we were able to win the championship title in Singapore,” said Sugeng Waluyo.

The Mayor of Bekasi, Dr. Tri Adhianto, congratulated the Tajimalela FA U-14 Team for the achievements that have been achieved. “I am very proud of this achievement. This proves that Bekasi City has great potential in the field of football. I hope that this team can continue to excel and make the city of Bekasi proud at the national and international levels,” said the Mayor.

The Tajimalela FA U-14 team will be projected to participate in higher events at the European level. “In the future, we will create an academy project in Bekasi City under the name ‘Bekasi City’ and we will prepare for the Soeratin team in the long term. In addition, we also plan to penetrate Europe and are currently communicating related to the agenda in Europe,” added Sugeng Waluyo.
