SINGAPORE, netiz.id — A proud achievement has been made again by young talents from Central Sulawesi. Aimar Al Adlu, a 14-year-old player from Palu City, successfully won the title of Top Scorer of the 2025 SingaCup after scoring a total of 11 goals during the international tournament held in Singapore.

The player with the number 10 jersey who is familiarly called Marco appeared as one of the stars of the tournament, although his team, Palu Selection, had to be stopped in the last eight. From the opening match to the knockout phase, Marco showed consistent and aggressive performance, making him one of the most prominent young players among hundreds of participants from various countries.

Citing the official report of the organizers of the 2025 SingaCup, Marco opened the tournament with a bang. He scored five goals against India, one against Australia, two against Singapore, and another goal in the group phase. His sharpness and high goalscoring instinct made his name shot up as a strong candidate for top scorer from the beginning of the competition.

Currently, Aimar Al Adlu is studying at Al Azhar Mandiri Palu. Outside of school, he honed his football skills at one of the academies in Bogor to strengthen his technique and competitive mentality. The full support of his father, Ahmadi H.B. Buraera, was also an important factor in the development of his football career.

The Official Palu Selection, Gamal Hakim, admitted that he was proud of Marco’s achievements. “Even though we fell in the last eight, Marco’s achievement as a Top Scorer proves that football talents from Palu can compete at the international level,” he said.

Meanwhile, Marco’s father, Ahmadi Buraera, when confirmed by this media on Friday (07/11/25) said that this achievement is very proud. However, the man who idolizes AC Milan advised Marco not to be complacent and continue to train to improve his abilities.

“This achievement is not only a matter of pride for the team, but also for the people of Central Sulawesi and Indonesia. Aimar Al Adlu has shown that football talents from the region are able to shine on the international stage,” he said.
