Proud achievements have once again been recorded by the students of SDIT Al-Furqon Megang Sakti. They were officially sent off by Musi Rawas Deputy Regent Suprayitno to take part in Singa Cup 2025, to be held in Singapore on 1-5 November 2025.
MUSI RAWAS, 26 October 2025 – The send-off was a lively event in the yard of SDIT Al-Furqon Megang Sakti. The students, in their proud uniforms, were eager to bring honour to their school, region and nation on the international stage.

Before playing in Singapore, the SDIT Al-Furqon football team, coached by Kurnia Sandi (“Coach Tole”), will first take part in the National Grassroots Cup at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on 24-26 October 2025. That competition is an important warm-up before Singa Cup, which involves young teams from various Asian countries.
In his remarks, Deputy Regent Suprayitno expressed pride and high appreciation to the students, coaches and school.
We are very proud of the achievements and spirit of Musi Rawas children. This is a source of pride for all of us. I hope they can give their best results and become an inspiration for other students in Musi Rawas Regency.
Suprayitno, Deputy Regent of Musi Rawas
Teachers, parents and school officials also attended and gave full support to the young athletes.
Coach Kurnia Sandi (Coach Tole) said the team’s success is not instant but the fruit of a long process of consistent, disciplined development.
All of this is the result of the players’ hard work, parents’ support and the school’s commitment. The children went through a long process of training and tiered competitions until they became capable players, at regional, national and now international level.

Coach Tole also hoped the young players would stay consistent and not be quickly satisfied.
Their journey is still long. Who knows, one day one of them may strengthen the Indonesian national team, like their senior Arif Satria, a native son of Megang Sakti who played in the Indonesian league and defended the national team.

The send-off is a symbol of the regional government’s real support for sport and character education among the young. Through an international event like Singa Cup, the students not only hone their football skills but also build competitive mentality, sportsmanship and confidence to compete globally.
