Palu’s city government has officially sent off the SSB Selection Palu football school team, who will represent the city at the international Singa Cup championship in Singapore from 29 October to 7 November 2025.

PALU – The Mayor of Palu, represented by Acting Assistant for Economy and Development at the Palu Regional Secretariat Rahmad Mustafa, officially sent off the SSB Selection Palu football school team on Friday (24/10/2025) in the yard of the Palu Mayor’s Office.

The SSB Selection Palu team will represent the city of Palu at the international Singa Cup football championship in Singapore from 29 October to 7 November 2025.

In the Mayor’s written remarks, read out by Rahmad Mustafa, the Palu city government expressed its pride and highest appreciation to all the players, coaches and team officials who will carry the good name of Palu, and even Indonesia, onto the international stage.

Your presence at this prestigious tournament is not just about taking part in a competition, but real proof that Palu’s young people can compete at the world level if they are well nurtured and given the widest possible opportunities.

Rahmad Mustafa

Singa Cup itself is a tournament that brings together the best young football talents from various countries. For that reason, the Acting Assistant said, the SSB Selection Palu team’s participation is not only an honour but also a challenge to show sportsmanship, discipline and a never-give-up spirit, values that should be part of every true athlete.

On the occasion, Rahmad Mustafa also gave a special message to the players to play with heart and a high fighting spirit.

Play with heart, compete with fighting spirit, and carry Palu’s name with pride. Keep together, respect your coaches and fellow players, and show positive character in every step you take on the pitch.

Rahmad Mustafa

He also thanked the coaches and officials for their dedication in nurturing young Palu athletes, and hoped the support given would be the best provision for the players to achieve results and gain valuable experience while competing in Singapore.

The Palu city government, he said, will keep supporting sports development, especially early-age football, as a means of shaping character, discipline and regional pride.

We want to see more sons and daughters of Palu achieving and bringing honour to the nation at the national and international level.

Rahmad Mustafa

Closing his remarks, Rahmad Mustafa offered prayers and hopes that the SSB Selection Palu team would achieve the best results at Singa Cup 2025.

Take the spirit of “Palu Mantap Bergerak” onto the world’s green fields! Show that from Palu a golden generation is born, one that is brave, of character and accomplished!

Rahmad Mustafa
