SCC Singapore Academy (SIN) to meet Ocean Reef Senior High School (AUS) in the U16 Finals after their tough battle against Cockburn City (AUS) in the 2nd Semi-Finals.
SCC SA’s opponent, Ocean Reef SHS, may have featured in the SingaCup series for the first time; however, they are a veteran of the SingaCup’s School International Challenge. Ocean Reef SHS is the Challenge’s U16 Champions in 2012, 3rd in 2013 and Runners-Up in 2014. Given this resume, Ocean Reef SHS is no push over, and had proven its prowess in the way they had decimated their opponents in their path throughout SingaCup 2015 – scoring 33 goals so far, conceding only 3 goals.
However, ANZA (SIN) had proven in the Semi-Finals that Ocean Reef’s defense is not impregnable, as they valiantly scored 2 past the Australians in their 4 – 2 defeat.
SCC SA on the other hand, revenged their 1 – 0 defeat against Cockburn City, by winning 4 – 2 in the thrilling 2nd Semi Finals. SCC SA is also a debutant in the SingaCup series. They had already made their mark and is looking forward to spoil Ocean Reef’s party in the U16 Finals
