Persib Bandung of Indonesia is the Champions of SingaCup 2024, after defeating Thailand’s Nongbua Pitchaya FC in the U14 Finals.

Northern New South Wales beat fellow Australians, South Coast Baptist College 1 in the penalty shoot out to clinch 3rd Place.

Top scorer is No. 80 Revan Juliyana from Persib Bandung with 11 goals, while No. 5 from the same team, Abdullah Azzam won the Most Valuable Player award.

Hong Kong Football Association Team B, Football South Australia Red, University of Western Australia and the Northern New South Wales of Australia qualified for the Semi-Finals after winning and running up in their respective groups in the group stage of the SingaCup 2024 Girls U14 category.

Lion City Sailors of Singapore will meet Thailand’s Phranakorn FC in the 3rd Placings PlayOff, while Lake Joondalup Baptist College of Australia will meet fellow Aussies, Football South Australia Blue in the 4th Placings PlayOff.

Indonesia Diklat Imran Soccer Academy edges ActiveSG FA of Singapore by one goal to get through to the Finals, while Guangzhou Mingtu FC from China beats Football South Australia U16 on penalties to book their spot.

ActiveSG FA will now meet Football South Australia in the 3rd placing match.

Persib Bandung from Indonesia and Nongbua Pitchaya of Thailand, both got through to the Finals in two closely fought Semi-Finals, where both games ended the match without any goals, leading the tense penalty shoot-outs to decided who are the finalist.

South Coast Baptists College 1 will now meet fellow Australians, Northern New South Wales in the 3rd Placing match.

GIANYAR, NusaBali – Bali United Academy sent four teams to the Singa Cup 2024 youth international competition, in Singapore. The four teams are in the U8, U10, U12 and U16 categories. They compete with teams from Malaysia, Singapore, India, the Philippines, and Japan.

The tournament lasted from last Saturday (2/11) to Saturday (9/11). In addition to Bali United, another Liga 1 team, Persib Bandung, also sent fostered teams in the U12 and U14 categories. Also other Indonesian representatives, namely Diklat Imran Soccer Academy, Sulcata Football Academy, and Madani FC.

“Of course, this is a forum to develop talents and abilities in the field of football so that later they can become professional players in clubs and the Indonesian national team in the future,” said Richi Kurniawan, who is also the General Coordinator of the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium.

The Bali United Academy U8 squad appeared first in group D out of a total of 5 groups divided from various regions on November 2-3, 2024. Then Bali United Academy U8 occupies second place in the group D standings after winning 9 points from three wins and one defeat.

They defeated Singapore’s representative Anza Soccer 6-4 and won again 4-2 over the Philippines’ representative, G8 U8 Black.

Then Bali United Academy U8 managed to defeat the representative of Singapore with a score of 3-0 without reply before finally succumbing to the representative of Malaysia, TSS Darulehsan Malaysia 7’s.

Occupying second place in the standings, BU Academy U8 won 2-0 over the Philippines’ representative, Ateneo de Manila. BU Academy U8’s move was stopped in the quarterfinals after losing 5-1 to TSS Selangor Malaysia.

Meanwhile, in the U10 and U8 categories, Bali United Academy U10 failed to say much. BU Academy U10 is at the bottom of the group D standings after winning one draw and three defeats. They are in the same group as LCS FA from Singapore, Afro Asia Football Academy (Singapore), G8 U10 Black from the Philippines, Conscient Sport Mumbai from India.

In the U12 category, Bali United Academy U12 was also stopped in the preliminaries. They only won one victory over India’s representative, Conscient Sport Delhi. *

Indonesia’s Persib Bandung, Australia’s South Coast Baptist College 1, Thailand’s Nongbua Pitchaya FC and Australia’s Northern New South Wales won their respective Quarter-Finals match to qualify for the Semi-Finals

Persib Bandung meets South Coast Baptist College 1 in the 1st Semi-Final, and Nongbua Pitchaya FC meets Northern New South Wales in the other Semi-Final.

Australia’s Quinns and Philippines’s Cebu Football Club qualified for the Quarter-Finals of SingaCup 2024 via penalty shoot-out, while Pro Football Lab defeat fellow Australian compatriot in a convincing 5 – 0 scoreline.

Quinns, will now meet South Coast Baptist College 1; Cebu FC will mean Thailand’s Nongbua Pitchaya FC; while Pro Football Lab will meet Group D winner, Northern New South Wales.

With the 5 groups set up, winners of each group gets a bye directly to the Quarter-Finals, while all the 2nd placed teams will go into the Play-Offs along with the Best 3rd Placing teams to try to qualified for the limited spots in the QF.

The Best 3rd Placing team was Don Bosco Technical College FC from Philippines as the only team that broke the 6 points threshold that all other 3rd Placed teams struggled to break through from.

The Play-Offs sees 4 Australian teams: Quinns, Football South Australia Regional, West Canberra Wanderers and Pro Football Lab; while Cebu FC make the rest of the Play-Off slate

Awaiting the winners of the Play-Offs, also dominated by Australian teams, are Football South Australia Metro, South Coast Baptist College 1, Northern New South Wales; and Thailand’s Nongbua Pitchaya FC

The winner and runners up of each group had qualified to the SingaCup 2024 U16 Quarter-Finals: This includes Australia’s LS Talents, Ashdale, Football South Australia U16; Indonesia’s Darul Amanah FA, Singapore’s ActiveSG FA, and China’s Guangzhou Mingtu FC.

The top 2 3rd Best Placing teams that qualified are Diklat Imran SA from Indonesia and Singapore’s Verde Cresta Combined SC.
