The SingaCup 2025 Girls U16 category is underway, and the opening round of matches has already showcased the strength and depth of Australia’s youth football scene. With dominant performances across both groups, Australian clubs have established early control as the teams aim for a place in the knockout rounds.

🇦🇺 Group A — UWA-Nedlands and West Canberra Start Strong
UWA-Nedlands Football Club (Australia) began their campaign in style with a 5–0 victory, immediately putting themselves at the top of Group A on goal difference. Their fluid attacking play and defensive composure set a strong early tone for the tournament.
Right behind them, West Canberra Wanderers (Australia) also secured a confident 3–0 win, matching UWA on points and demonstrating the competitive quality of the Australian representatives in this group.
CBP W3 (Singapore) and Football South Australia Blue (Australia) will be looking to bounce back after their opening defeats, with plenty still to play for as the group stage continues.

Over in Group B, Football South Australia Red (Australia) opened with an emphatic 5–0 victory, while LS Talents Tech Kick (Australia) remain close behind after recording a win and a loss from their first two fixtures.
Perth SC (Australia) also impressed with a 3–1 win, making Group B one of the most tightly contested brackets of the tournament so far. Despite their best efforts, NAPA Rovers FC (Guam) have struggled to find form, but will aim to regroup and gain valuable experience from their remaining matches.
