Players in action on the final day of the SingaCup 2021 4v4 football tournament last Sunday at The Cage Sports Park. The two-day event featured 318 players across four age groups.
Amigos and ALFA won the boys’ Under-14 and U-16 categories respectively, while the girls’ U-16 and open divisions were won by 4-IN-1 and Tiong Bahru respectively.
This year’s edition of the SingaCup, an international youth football competition featuring teams from Asia, adopted a hybrid format with physical and virtual activities.
The online Fifa22 competition saw a total of 784 participants.
Online Q&A and meet-and-greet sessions were also held with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Cho So-hyun, Lyon defender Ellie Carpenter and West Ham United’s women’s U-21 coach Stephen Opoka.
