PALU, Celebes News – Proud news comes from the 2025 SingaCup international event in Singapore. A young player from Palu, Central Sulawesi, Aimar Al Adlu, won the title of Top Scorer or top scorer with a fantastic score of 11 goals.

The player with the number 10 jersey who is familiarly called Marco became one of the stars of the tournament, although his team, Palu Selection, had to be stopped in the last eight.

Citing the official website of the tournament, Marco has performed exceptionally since the opening match. He scored five goals against India, one against Australia, two goals against Singapore, and several other goals in the group phase. His consistent performance and high scoring instinct have made him a spotlight among hundreds of young players from various countries.

Aimar Al Adlu, who is now 14 years old and attends Al Azhar Mandiri Palu, studied football at one of the academies in Bogor to hone his technique and competitive mentality. Marco is the son of Ahmadi H.B. Buraera, who has been giving full support to his son’s football career.

The Official Palu Selection, Gamal Hakim, said Marco’s achievement was a source of pride for the team and the entire people of Central Sulawesi. “Even though we fell in the last eight, Marco’s achievement as a Top Scorer proves that football talents from Palu can compete at the international level,” said Gamal.

Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, AM Akbar Supratman, who from the beginning provided moral support and assistance for the Palu Selection team, also expressed his appreciation for Marco’s brilliant achievement.

“Aimar Al Adlu or Marco is a real example of the young people of Palu who have determination, discipline, and hard work. He not only carries the name of Central Sulawesi, but also makes Indonesia proud in the international arena,” said Akbar.

Akbar emphasized that achievements like this show the importance of continuous support for youth football coaching throughout Indonesia.

“This is proof that the football potential of the regions must continue to be fostered. If we give space and serious attention, many other ‘Marco-Marcos’ will be born from various regions. Indonesia has a bright future in football,” he said.

Aimar Al Adlu’s achievement in the 2025 SingaCup is a great pride for the people of Central Sulawesi and Indonesia, proving that from a small field in Palu, young stars can be born who shine on the international stage.
