Karachi: Lyari Football Academy has made it to the semi-finals of the 2025 Singapore Cup.
The academy’s team has reached the final four of Asia’s biggest youth football tournament in Singapore.
According to reports, the Lyari Football Academy team defeated Indonesia’s Simin Padang FC in the quarterfinals after a tough match.
The match was tied 0-0 until the stipulation, but was then decided by a penalty shootout.
Lyari Football Academy won 3-2, with goalkeeper Kashif playing a key role, who saved a sure goal to give his team the victory.
Earlier, the players of Lyari Football Academy had won the honor of reaching the quarter-finals by defeating the Australian team Ocean Reef SHS 6-0.
A total of 160 teams from 13 countries are participating in the U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-16 events.
The 15th edition, which runs till November 9, also includes para football competitions for the first time
