BEKASI CITY — Bekasi Mayor Tri Adhianto officially released the departure of the Tajimalela Team, which consists of the best young players selected by Football Schools (SSB) throughout Bekasi City, to compete in the prestigious U-14 SingaCup International Tournament held in Singapore.
This release took place at the Bekasi City Government Plaza in a series of morning apples with the ranks of the Bekasi City Government, which was also attended by regional apparatus leaders, coaches, athletes’ parents, and representatives of BPRS Patriot as supporting partners of the activity.
In his remarks, Mayor Tri Adhianto expressed his pride and high appreciation to the young players who will bring the good name of Bekasi City in the international event.
“I feel proud of the enthusiasm and hard work of the SSB students who are members of the Tajimalela Team. You not only carry the name of the team, but also the honor of the city of Bekasi. Show the best game, uphold sportsmanship, and make our city proud in Singapore,” said Tri Adhianto.
Tri added that the spirit of competition must be accompanied by strong character, sportsmanship, and high discipline. He assessed that international competitions such as the SingaCup are not only a sports event, but also a learning of the values of struggle and pride for the young generation of Bekasi.
As a form of real support, BPRS Patriot provides special savings prizes for Tajimalela Team athletes if they win 1st place in the U-14 SingaCup event. This program is a positive synergy between the regional financial sector and the development of young athletes in Bekasi City.
“We not only support from a moral point of view, but also provide incentives for young athletes to continue to excel and have a healthy financial future,” said a representative of BPRS Patriot on the occasion.
The Bekasi City Government continues to be committed to strengthening early childhood sports coaching through cross-sector cooperation, improving training facilities, and organizing sustainable regional competitions.
Tri Adhianto emphasized that Bekasi is preparing for Sport City 2026, in line with the appointment of Bekasi City as the host of the 2026 West Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov).
“We are building representative integrated sports facilities and infrastructure. This facility will be a home for our young athletes to train, excel, and bring the name of Bekasi City to the national and international levels,” he said.
He also hopes that the departure of the Tajimalela Team can be an inspiration for other SSBs in Bekasi City to continue to make achievements, defend the championship title at the Porda event, and continue the proud tradition of being a Triple Winner of West Java sports.
Through participation in international events such as the SingaCup, the Bekasi City Government affirms the direction of human resource development policies based on character, discipline, and achievements.
“Football is not just a sport, but also a space for the mental formation of champions. From the green field, we build a generation that is ready to compete, be ethical, and bring the spirit of Bekasi to the world,” concluded Tri Adhianto.
