SingaCup > Latest News > Broadcast > U12: Battle of the Titans, as JSSL Singapore (SIN) meets I,Pagasa FC (PHI) in the U12 Finals

November 6th, 2015 | Broadcast

Battle of the Titans, as I would call it, as JSSL Singapore (SIN) meets I,Pagasa FC (PHI) in the U12 Finals.

JSSL is, in their own words, Singapore’s Premier League soccer school, and is an Official Arsenal Soccer School affiliated to Barclays Premier League club, Arsenal FC in the UK. They have perhaps been one of the expansive and consistent football academy in Singapore. Such is their establishment that they even run the JSSL Leagues, that is the premier domestic youth leagues in Singapore, participated by virtually every local academies who worth their salt. All these infrastructure underlies their SingaCup 2015 run up the finals, where they had caught the attention of everyone, and definitely, by their U12 Finals opponent.

I,Pagasa FC on the hand is one of the strongest football setups in the Philippines. They are also one of the reason why Iloilo City, where I,Pagasa is based, is also known as the Football Capital of Philippines. Just only last week, the U12 team participated in the U13 tournament in the Pilipinas Cup, finishing as Runners-Up, losing only to the de-factor Indonesian U13 National Team. I,Pagasa FC is also the U14 SingaCup 2014 champions.

This will be one of the match to watch, the battle of the titans of Singapore and Philippines – one that you should not miss!

The match will be played on November 6, 2015 | 10:00 am | Pitch 1
